Which Is Your Favorite Handgun?

In the many years that I've been involved with firearms, hunting, self defense and the shooting sports, I have learned that everyone has a personal preference. It seems that some prefer form over function. Some preference plastic to steel. Some people like sights that are user friendly for failing eyesight.

I'd like to hear from you as to which is your favorite handgun and caliber. What is your least favorite handgun? Did you have a bad experience? Do you use your handgun for hunting? Which handgun is your every day carry gun?

I carry a Taurus millenium pro 9mm and it's a great little gun. Accurate, reliable, smooth. I don't care what people say about Taurus.

You won't hear me say anything bad about Taurus. For that matter, I am reluctant to say anything bad about most guns. It's all about personal preference and respect for others points of view. Frankly, I like the Millenium Pro. Sweet gun.

Yeah the Taurus has been great. Darrel, the takedown on the Taurus is very easy. There's a trick to it but when you know what to do it just takes a few seconds.

Duty carry Sig 1911. Love a Glock 23, although the only off duty I have at this time is Colt 38 6 shot detective special. Least favorite was an old department issues Beretta 92. I am female with small hands. I can handle most 1911's, but that Beretta was a brick!!!

Interesting choice for duty weapon, apenn. Seems like most people carry a Glock as a duty weapon. Is your SIG a rail model or standard frame? What's the barrel length? I'm a huge SIG fan in any model. Love my 1911 TACOPS.

I've heard that the Beretta is a bit awkward for smaller hands. I personally ha...

I've got the Sig Nightmare, (no rail). We carried Glock 22's for a long time but the department decided as long as we are proficient with what we carry, we can carry either a 40 or 45 of our choice.
